David Dotson was awarded a 2015 Education Committee Travel Award to present his research on Recent Structures and molecular dynamics simulations offer new perspective on Na+/H+ antiporters at the 59th Annual Meeting of the Biophysical Society in Baltimore, MD.
The article Crystal structure of the sodium-proton antiporter NhaA dimer and new mechanistic insights made the cover image of the December issue of the Journal of General Physiology. Graduate student David Dotson is a joint first author on the paper.
The Lab is a partner on the large NSF-sponsored SPIDAL project (“Middleware and High Performance Analytics Libraries for Scalable Data Science”) that was announced as part of a larger program for Laying the groundwork for data-driven science. The lab joins with partners at Indiana University, Emory University, Rutgers University, University of Kansas, University of Utah and Virginia Tech.
