Robert Delgado

Robert Delgado is an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Cornell’s Applied and Engineering Physics Program. At Cornell, Robert was a teaching assistant for the past two semesters where he aided in the Introductory Mechanics and Physical Sciences classes.

During the summer of 2016 he was working in the Beckstein lab as a student in the 2016 REU Program.

He studied the feasibility to speed up the distance_array() method in MDAnalysis using GPUs. He also improved other parts of the code such as the RMSD fitting routines1.

Outside of the lab, Robert enjoys playing and listening to music.
